We stumbled upon this gem on a Venice street while wandering around. The menu looked delicious and not too pricey. We chatted with Tony at the door, and he was super helpful with all our menu questions. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the service was just as great. After dinner, Tony even suggested some places to get gelato. We can’t recommend this restaurant enough!

Most amazing cicchetti and aperol spritz The prawns are so fresh and delicious. The bruschetta is amazing. The mozzarella incredible. The speck was delicious. The cannoli the kids went mad for them ! Just is such a lovely little Hidden gem in Venice. Wonderful staff. Amazing food! We came one day in the morning and absolutely loved it so we came back in the evening the next day

Great little restaurant in the heart of Venice. Unlike everywhere close to all the famous attractions, this is cheap in price but very high in quality and presentation. Great staff, local food and drinks with awesome desserts available too

Osteria da Alex is a restaurant with the perfect budget menu & at the same time good food. We went there x3 times, the food was exquisite. Good location, very clean & the service was very good as well. I would for sure recommend this restaurant over & over again !! :) good value for money.

Food was fantastic here, seafood pasta, risotto, soup and mixed fried seafood were exceptionally tasty. I had lunch here and knew I needed to come back for dinner. Waited for around 10 minutes and was offered a free glass of wine while waiting. Well worth the wait. Prices were below average in Venice as well, and no problem paying by card.

This place was exactly what we were looking for after a long day of travel. We had a fantastic experience. The lasagna and pizza were very good and the price was just right. One of the best meals we've had in Italy so far. Chi-Chi was very welcoming and accommodating, a true pleasure to deal with.

The restaurant has good placement, the waiter guy were polite and kind and the food was great for the price:) Aperol was a bit warm they should have added more ice, and the beer wasn’t that good as we expected. But after all, we had a good dinner!☺️

We came here for a light dinner after a busy day - we had the minestrone soup and the chicken schnitzel - the food was tasty and the service attentive. Tables outside are just off the main alley way which creates a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.

We ate here on our first night in Venice and the last night as well. The staff were very accommodating and made amazing cocktails - I’m very fussy with my cocktails and theirs were delicious! The food was great and the price was even better. Nice atmosphere and heaters outside. It’s quite small but so so worth it!! Definitely recommend :)
